WhatsApp Finally Releases Voice Calling Feature To Windows Users

And finally, it’s here! In a major respite to all Windows OS mobile users, WhatsApp has finally rolled out the much anticipated voice calling feature for the Windows OS, being one of the last OS to receive this update. With Windows receiving the update as well, WhatsApp has now covered all the major OS’ namely Android, iOS, BlackBerry 10, and Windows Phone.

The users need to download the latest version of version 2.12.60.0 which is now available in the Nokia Store. However, the feature only supports phones that have Windows Phone 8 and above.

WhatsApp calling feature was first rolled to all Android users’ way back in the month of March, and subsequently it was released to other OS users as well.

WhatsApp is currently one of the most widely used instant messaging app as lately it crossed 800 million monthly active users across the world, according to WhatsApp’s CEO and co-founder Jan Koum.
