Patna: One person was killed and another injured in a parcel bomb blast at a home of a JD(U) leader on Tuesday in Gaya district of Bihar. The explosion occurred when a parcel was sent to the residence of Abhay Kushwaha (leader of Janata Dal-United). Kushwaha’s domestic help Santosh died in the blast.
The incident occurred when the leader was not at the home. Kushwaha’s brother-in-law Jai Hind Kumar was also injured in the explosion.
It is heard that the parcel bomb had wires attached to it and two persons were putting it aside, the bomb exploded. The police registered a case and are investigating it.
