PM Modi Book Exam Warriors To Be Launched Today

Exam Warriors a book penned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be launched in New Delhi on Saturday. The book is a guide for students preparing for exams in the country. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will release the book along with Prime Minister Modi.

The book was written to help inspire students and give them a new way of looking at examinations. During Modi’s monthly Mann Ki Baat radio talk said the students needed to start celebrating examinations like festivals.

Publishing house Penguin India has published Exam Warriors with 208 pages. In one of the chapters Modi shares an anecdote about the time he participated in a school play.

In one of the chapters, Modi shared an anecdote about the time he was participating in a school play. He said, “I had to deliver a particular dialogue which, for some reason, I was struggling with. The director of the play got impatient and said he would be unable to direct me if I kept saying the dialogue in that manner. Naturally, I thought I was doing it perfectly, so I found it perplexing that the director would say this about me. The next day, I asked him to act like me and show me what I was doing wrong. In a matter of seconds, I realised where I was going wrong and was able to improve myself.”

PM Modi has pieces of advice for parents in his book as well, he says, “Keep doing everything that you can to support your children. This includes lightening the child’s mood and ensuring he or she appears for the exam in a happy and stress free manner.”

Modi has been very open about the issue of exam stress. Last year, Modi made exam stress the topic for his monthly Mann Ki Baat radio speech. A national study shows that a student commits suicide every hour in India. India is also rated the country with the highest suicide rates for youths between the ages of 15 and 29.
