The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) chalk down a strategy to evaluate the answer scripts of Intermediate public examinations after the lockdown ends.
With just 9 days left for the end of the Nationwide lockdown, the government departments and Educational institutions are planning to restart their normal functions and evaluation of examination papers.
The TSBIE decided to set up extra evaluation centres, more evaluators so the evaluation process could be done on time and the State Board would be able to announce results at earliest.
A TSBIE official said, “We plan to increase the number of evaluators and also evaluation centres across the State after the lockdown ends. This is being done to speed up the valuation process and announce the results at the earliest.”
As the lockdown was announced on the 24th of March, the TSBIE conducted first year and second year intermediate exams, scheduled from the 4th of March to the 23rd of March. However, One Modern Language Paper II and Geography Paper was postponed due to the worsening situation in the State due to the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus.
According to sources, in 2020, a total of 9,65,875 students including 4,80,531 first year and 4,85,344 second year students registered for the Intermediate public exams.
The Centre for Good Governance (CGG) would handle the results data processing and would use several technologies to process the results data online .
Meanwhile, TSBIE did not make any announcement regarding the remaining two papers and re scheduled dates for examinations.The Nationwide lockdown is going to end on the 15th of April. All the state governments are planning out strategies to continue the fight against the pandemic Novel Coronavirus , even after the lockdown ends.
