Rahul Yadav In Funding Talks With Paytm And Alibaba

RAHUL YADAV PAYTM FUNDING

The bad boy of Indian startups, Rahul Yadav is all set to start his next venture in few days from now. Currently, he is in talks with various VC’s and companies for early stage funding, for his yet to be launched prototype, and industry experts are confident that Rahul Yadav could easily raise money for his startup, considering his efforts in building and getting Housing.com to a stage where it is now.

Rahul Yadav is currently in talks with Paytm founder Vijay Sekhar Sharma and is possibly expecting him to invest in his company. He is likewise in talks with Chinese e-commerce giant, Alibaba over the possibilities of funding in his next venture. However, the amount of funding is still not known and is kept under tight wraps.

“Despite Housing fiasco, there is a lot of interest in him and his ideas. It’s in early stages and most of the details are yet to be worked out based upon the outcome of meetings,” a person close to the ongoing development added.

There is still a lot of speculation surrounding the next big idea from Rahul Yadav, as this time around he seems to be more confident of giving all internet businesses in India, a tough competition.  He posted on his Facebook, “All Indian internet companies put together < My next venture. Let me show you a good game this time! Not to earn money but just to show you guys that it can be done. And, that too without sweating much!”

One has to wait and see, if Rahul Yadav will be able to turn even this idea, into a million dollar company. Only time will tell, but for now, he has to cross the first hurdle of getting the required funding to start it.
