In a tragic incident, a youth, residing in the Konaseema district of Andhra Pradesh, committed suicide, confirmed the police on the 6th of June, Tuesday.
Getting into the details, the victim identified as Sathvik was addicted to online gaming and lost a huge sum of money. Sathvik, who used to live with his grandfather had an amount of Rs. 78,000, sent by his aunt. Sathvik’s aunt, who lives in Dubai, transferred the money to Sathvik for his grandfather’s surgery.
However, habituated with these online betting gaming, Sathvik played games online and lost all his money along with the surgery money. When he realised his mistake, he got scared and to escape a scolding, he took the extreme step and committed suicide.
Furthermore, a case has been registered and an investigation into the matter is underway.
