Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, tested positive for the deadly Wuhan virus (COVID-19.)
On the 4th of January, Tuesday, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter and said, “I have tested positive for Covid. Mild symptoms. Have isolated myself at home. Those who came in touch with me in the last few days, kindly isolate yourself and get yourself tested.”
Itn the past few days, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, 53 years old, conducted massive rallies in poll bound states like Punjab, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. He was campaigning for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) amid surging COVID-19 and Omicron cases.
Notably, the AAP is contesting the upcoming Assembly elections in Punjab, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. The Party President Mr. Kejriwal launched massive campaigns and visited Ludhiana, Patiala, Amritsar, Dehradun, Jalandhar and other cities of the poll bound states in the past few days.
The aforementioned states are scheduled to contest the Assembly elections in early 2022. An official date is awaited.
