On Tuesday, the Tamil Film actor Dhanush along with his mother appeared in the court along with his mother to put an end to the couple’s claim that he was their son. The couple claimed that Dhanush had run away from their home to become an actor and demanded that he pay their maintenance. Kathiresan and Meenakshi the old couple claimed that the actor is their third son who had ran away from home to enter films.
The actor along with his mother, Vijayalakshmi, appeared before the Madurai Bench of the Madras High court. He was there to verify birthmarks and also quash the claims of the elderly couple who claim to be his parents.
The couple alleged that Dhanush was brought up in Madurai and ran away from home to Chennai. They also said that they were not able to trace his whereabouts and identified him only after watching him in the films. The couple demanded a compensation of Rs. 65,000 per month for their maintenance.
During the proceedings, Dhanush has requested the court to end the case and also said that the entire statement is false. All the necessary tests were conducted by the Madurai Bench doctor and the court case has been adjourned until March 2.
