On Wednesday, the Indian Army took out surgical strikes at the Myanmar border. The strikes have reportedly caused major damage to Naga insurgent camps.
The strikes were carried out by a team of Indian Para Commandos at 4:45 A.M., causing extreme damage to the Naga insurgents near the Langkhu village at the Indo Myanmar border.
There were no casualties from the Indian Army but many of the insurgents were killed.
This is the second time the Indian Army has carried out a surgical strike at the Myanmar border.
The Indian Army sent out a statement that said, “Heavy casualties reportedly inflicted on NSCN (K) cadre. No casualties suffered by Indian Security Forces.”
In June 2015, the Indian Army targeted the Naga insurgents after they ambushed Indian militants and killed 18 soldiers in Manipur.
