In an incident of utter stupidity, a man in Hyderabad identified as Ajay Velpula was seriously injured after attempting a selfie video with a moving train. The horrific incident was caught on camera and posted on YouTube.
Ajay is seen in the video standing right next to the railway tracks taking a video with his phone. In the video, you can see the train quickly approaching but Ajay refuses to move. He even puts a finger out to point at the train and as the train passes, it rams into him.
Ajay seems to have assumed the train would just pass by him but he was wrong. The train gave him multiple warnings to move while approaching. Ajay’s friend is heard asking him to move out of the way as the train approached but Ajay was more than confident, he was stupid. His friend had to rush him to the railway hospital where he is being treated for a head and arm injury.
The need to get a selfie in dangerous places has become a trend in India making it an adrenaline pumping hobby among the youth. India stands number one for the most loss of life due to selfies.
