Florida: In an horrific incident, a two-year-old boy was dragged into a lagoon by an alligator at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The boy’s father could not save his child although he made all his efforts to take his kid away from the reptile.
The child was playing in the water with his family when he was seized by the animal which was believed to be 4 feet and 7 feet (1.2 meters and 2 meters) long, according to the local reporters.
“The father entered the water and tried to grab the child and was not successful,” officials told a news conference just after midnight.
The mother also tried to rescue the boy and a nearby lifeguard was told of the attack, officials said.
