Aripiprazole tablets used to treat certain mood disorders were launched in the United States market by Dr. Reddy Labs.
After getting approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA), the drug, a therapeutic equivalent of Abilify (Aripiprazole) tablets, have been introduced in the biggest pharma market.
Mental/mood disorders such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, Tourette’s syndrome and irritability associated with Autism can be treated using Aripiprazole.
The Abilify generic tablets that have had sales of approximately $ 3.1 billion, for the past 12 months ending in August 2016. The tablets are available in the strengths of 2 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg, 20 mg and 30 mg.
