Renowned astrophysicist Stephen Hawkings has stated that humans will need to find a new planet to live on in the next 100 years. A new documentary titled Expedition New Earth has been released for BBC’s science series Tomorrow World. In this documentary, Hawkings will explain the disasters that will cause the earth to become inhabitable from asteroid strikes and epidemics. Stephen Hawkings will also highlight how humans will not be able to bare the continuous climate change and how overpopulation will reach an all time high.
Hawking builds this case to push humans to find life on another planet. Hawking has been warning about the end of days more than once. He has mentioned about how humans will wipe themselves off the planet and aliens won’t be pleased to meet us. Hawking has also spoken about how humans will be chased off the earth by our own made Artificial Intelligence. At a lecture in London last year Hawking was quoted, “Although the chance of a disaster to planet Earth in a given year may be quite low, it adds up over time, and becomes a near certainty in the next 1,000 or 10,000 years”.
As reported by the Telegraph, Professor Stephen Hawkings has planned to travel the world along with his former student Christophe Galfard to make analysis and figure out ways humans can live in outer space. Hawkings has worked with Galfard earlier on black holes and the origins of the universe. Galfard has contributed to the world of children releasing a number of children books that explain the science behind the working of the world.
Stephen Hawking’s theory could mean that all humans can either pack their bags and leave earth before 2117 or get wiped off their original planet.
