Bangalore: Hangovers come gratuitous with drinking. There’s no escaping them, unless you pop in an anti-hangover pill or drink. Bangalore-based Morning Fresh, one of India’s only anti-hangover drink brands, seems to have gone a step further in its crusade against hangovers. Earlier today, it introduced the Bro’ster, which it claims is the world’s “first ever interactive coaster that helps you drink smart.”

In simple terms, the Bro’ster is a smart electronic coaster that displays messages as you go on drinking. From the launch video, it seems like the Bro’ster has got a personality of its own. From egging you on with messages like “You’re giving Usain Bolt an inferiority complex”, to slowing you down with messages like “Whoa! Slow down”, it’s a proper drinking companion. It also tweets your drinking personality to you once you’re done guzzling. “Pitcher Perfect” and “Mother Chugger” are two personalities that caught our eye in the video.
Morning Fresh partnered with digital agency Dentsu Webchutney (Bangalore) to conceptualize and build the Bro’ster. The way we see it, solo drinkers have got their backs covered the next time they’re out for a guzzle galore!
