In the past 12 years, it is the first time that YouTube decided to get a massive makeover. The obvious change made to the site is the logo.
When the head of YouTube’s art department, Christopher Bettig was asked to describe the new changes he said, “It’s an evolution, not a revolution.”
The iOS and Andriod users YouTube mobile app has also been revamped.
The new features of the YouTube also include fast forwarding and rewinding a video. Just by tapping the left or right of the screen you can rewind or forward the video.
The features added also sports a new Library and Accounts tab.
Swiping left will allow you to skip to the previous YouTube video and swiping right will move you to the next video.
YouTube introduces a new playback speed for the mobile application.
YouTube will also be revamping the suggested videos section. YouTube have stated they will bring new features to this section soon.
