All the eyes of the Nation turn to Uttar Pradesh today as the wild the unpredictable west goes to polls today. UP will be the deciding factor for the fate of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP). Both the parties are expecting for a head start in the race for the maximum number of Lok Sabha elections.

The elections will be held for 73 constituencies that are spread over 15 districts and while the competition is in between three parties but the BJP has a lead over BSP as the combination of Congress-BSP led by Akhilesh Yadav does not have the favor of the people.

UP has a majorly Dalit population, which might favour the BSP-Congress performance and give them a majority in some places. Another party that is in the Lok Sabha elections in this region is Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) which is represented by a Jat ring leader Ajit Singh. But seeing the big partied RLD is going to face a tough time against the big parties.

The PM Narendra Modi-led BJP will also get a validation from these elections as the major part of UP is rural, and have faced a cash squeeze after the Demonetisation move. So all the parties, BSP with the father-son family drama and their joining hands with Congress, BJP after Demonetisation and RLD facing the big league parties will play for the win or die situation today, February 11 before they face the elections in the rest of the country. These polls are also significant as the women of UP are allowed to vote this year which has rarely happened over the years of elections.
