Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) is going to address the citizens of the State over the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
The address to the State would take place at 5:00 P.M. This would be the first briefing of Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, announced a nationwide lockdown till the 15th of April.
In this backdrop, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, even conducted a meeting with the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders, State Health Department officials and Cabinet ministers. The meeting which discussed the precautions taken to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus was held on the 25th of March, at the Tadepalli camp office.
During the address to the public, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to announce a few welfare activities and schemes for those who are financially unstable.
Besides this, YSRCP MLAs, Members of Parliament (MPs,) Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs) and others announced to donate their one day salary to CM relief funds, which collected a whopping amount of Rs. 100 crores so far.
Till the 26th of March, Andhra Pradesh reported a total of 10 COVID-19 cases.
