On Tuesday, Delhi woke up to yet another polluted morning with the Air Quality Index recorded at a very poor level. The temperature in Delhi has also dropped to just 9 degrees Celsius.
The quality of the air was marginally better than the pollution levels on Monday. The worst affected areas are Delhi Technical University, Anand Vihar and R.K. Puram.
The Delhi Government issued a health advisory on Monday to urge schools to avoid outdoor activities. The recent predictions show the pollution levels are likely to increase in the coming days. The Government suggested citizens to avoid morning walks or getting out of the house during the peak hours of the fog.
