In Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district, an MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) student allegedly committed suicide at Vishwabharati Medical College.
The deceased identified as Lokesh was a third year MBBS student. He was found hanging from a ceiling fan by the college administration on the morning of the 26th of June, Monday. The police were informed who immediately rushed to the spot.
The police registered a case and initiated an investigation into the suicide case. According to the initial reports, a failed love affair could be a potential reason behind the student’s drastic decision to end his life.
Meanwhile, the family of the victim has been informed about the tragic incident, who then rushed to the college premises. Furthermore, Lokesh’s body has also been shifted to a government hospital for postmortem and further legal procedure.
In addition, the police have launched an investigation and took Lokesh’s phone and laptop into their custody for data examination. Friends of the deceased are also being questioned to gain insight and to establish whether any disputes or emotional issues may have forced Lokesh to take the drastic step and commit suicide.
