Yemmiganur: Former Chief Minister and TDP National President, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, addressed a public gathering on Sunday, reiterating TDP’s commitment to championing the interests of the poor while criticizing the YSRCP for its alleged alignment with feudals and landlords.
Promising to conduct a caste census and allocate funds based on caste ratios, Naidu assured the people of Rayalaseema that irrigation would be prioritized under the coming NDA government, with pending projects completed to transform the region. He pledged to combat migration by ensuring irrigation to every acre in Rayalaseema.
Highlighting the disparities in project spending between TDP and YSRCP regimes, Naidu emphasized his party’s dedication to securing Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe statuses for deserving communities. He accused the YSRCP of failing to address regional needs and pledged to establish a textile park in Yemmiganur once the TDP-aligned NDA government assumes power.
Naidu criticized the YSRCP’s governance, citing failures in providing basic amenities and alleged corruption. He urged voters to elect the NDA government both at the Centre and in the State, with TDP as a partner, promising job creation and economic development.
