Markapur: In a fervent call to action, TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu rallied supporters in Markapur, Prakasam district, urging them to vote unanimously for the TDP in the upcoming elections to defeat the YSRCP. Naidu’s rallying cry came with promises of development, notably the upgrade of Markapur to district headquarters.

Addressing a sizable crowd during his Praja Galam campaign, Naidu criticized the YSRCP leadership, accusing them of deceiving the public and neglecting their responsibilities. He lambasted Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, holding him responsible for tragic incidents linked to the consumption of illicit liquor.

Highlighting his own track record, Naidu emphasized his role in initiating the Veligonda project and asserted his capability to address water scarcity issues in the region. He advocated for diverting Godavari water to the Nagarjuna Sagar project, touting it as a solution to drought concerns.

Naidu also took aim at the economic challenges facing the state, condemning the ruling party’s attempts to shift blame onto the TDP. He pledged support for pensioners and vowed to tackle unemployment by providing job opportunities and financial assistance.

Turning his attention to the electoral landscape, Naidu urged voters to reject YSRCP candidate Chevireddy Bhasker Reddy, whom he accused of involvement in illegal activities. Instead, he endorsed TDP candidates for the Ongole Lok Sabha seat and the Assembly.
