Hyderabad: Singareni Collieries Company Limites had decided to provide Rs. 1 crore accidental insurance to all its employees. N Balaram Nayak who recently took charge as CMD of collieries had focused on safety and security of workers.
He took a major decision of providing Rs. 1 crore accidental insurance without deducting a single rupee additionally from the salary of workers. Union Bank of India will provide the free insurance for holding accounts in the bank.
Employees will get the benefit incase of death or disability. Earlier workers used to get accidental cover of Rs. 40 lakhs only.
Workers will additionally get another 15 lakhs accidental insurance if they use Union Bank ATM card once every month. The management had also filed an MOU to provide Rs. 2 lakhs support for the plastic surgery incase of major cosmetic injuries.
The employees can also claim Rs. 15000 worth inpatient services every year and free air ambulance service up to Rs. 6 lakhs.
