The Hyderabad based Bharat Biotech International Private Limited, manufacturer of COVAXIN, is set to begin export. One of the India made vaccine against the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) finally got approval to export their vaccine doses to countries.
The announcement was made on the 29th of November, Monday, through an official statement released by the company. They announced to commence international export of the vaccine doses, for which the execution of the exportation was completed in November, which is set to be exported in December.
The company thanked the Central Government (for export) and said, the vaccines will be exported to countries, which approved the emergency use of COVAXIN.
So far, only the Serum Institute of India (SII) was allowed to export the one India made COVID-19 vaccine, Covisheild across the globe under the initiative of Central Government, named COVAX.
