Lagadapati Rajagopal, a former Member of Parliament (MP,) conducted a survey and revealed his prediction about the results of the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Assembly elections.

According to Mr. Rajagopal, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP)  is expected to win a majority of 90 Assembly seats in the Andhra Pradesh.

The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP)  will take the 2nd place by securing approximately 70 seats in the Assembly elections.

On the other hand, Rajagopal’s survey shows, the JanaSena Party will be last in the race with a total of only 11 seats.

Apart from Lagadapati Rajagopal, the local news channel also conducted surveys, which are opposite of his analysis.

According to the Mission Chanakya and People’s Pulse, YSRCP may win the AP Assembly elections with a majority of  105 and 112 Assembly seats respectively.

On the other hand, according to the survey of the Mission Chanakya and People’s Pulse, the TDP may secure 61 and 59 seats, whereas the JanaSena Party will win only 9 and 4 seats respectively.

Andhra Pradesh conducted it’s Assembly elections on the 11th of April, for a total of 175 seats.

The major parties which contested the elections are the TDP, the YSRCP and the JanaSena Party.

The results of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
