New York: Amazing scenes were seen at the World Trade Center in New York City on Thursday as the rainbow projections were observed, just a day before the city entered the 14th year since the attack on The Twin Tower, Lower Manhattan.
Witnesses report that the World Trade Center was crowned with the rainbow at about 8 a.m., between rain showers.
Many images were posted on social media across the city, but the most remarkable were those showing the WTC.
During the September 11 attacks, 2,996 people were killed, 2,977 victims and 19 of the perpetrators. These immediate deaths included 246 victims on the four planes, 2606 victims inside the World Trade Center.
