Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy called the Congress cadres to win all MP seats in Telangana to fulfill the dream of making Rahul Gandhi as prime minister of India. He said that every Congress leader should work as a soldier for the party’s victory in parliamentary elections.
Revanth on Tuesday chaired the Pradesh election committee (PEC) and discussed the selection of candidates for Lok Sabha seats. Addressing the media, he said that casting a vote for BRS is a waste of time and effort. “Voting for BRS is nothing but you dump your vote in Moosi drain,” Revanth commented.
Revanth Reddy said that prime minister Narendra Modi and former CM K Chandrasekhar Rao are in talks secretly. BRS and BJP are sailing together in the dark and making people believe that they are rivals in the foreground, Revanth added.
Revanth said that candidates who wish to contest for Lok Sabha should apply before February 3. He said that proper evaluation will be done in electing the MP candidates.
