Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani Is Fit And Fine With No Symptoms Of COVID-19

On the 15th of April, Dr. Atul Patel and Dr. R.K. Patel examined Vijay Rupani, the Chief Minister of Gujarat and confirmed him to be fit and fine without any symptoms of the Novel Coronavirus.

According to the medical reports, Mr. Rupani is absolutely fine and showed no symptoms of COVID-19 or Coronavirus.   However, Vijay Rupani stuck to his decision and isolated himself for a week. Vijay Rupani decided to isolate as a precautionary measure.  He would continue to work from his residence and would conduct video conferences with the officials if needed for a week.

Ashwani Kumar, the Secretary to the Gujarat Chief Minister confirmed the medical reports and self isolation to the media.

On the 14th of April, Vijay Rupani announced self isolation after attending a meeting with Imran Khedawala, a member of the Indian National Congress and a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA.)

On the evening of the 14th of April, Imran Khedawala was tested positive for COVID-19 infection.   Mr. Khedawala was present in a high level meeting organised at the residence of Vijay Rupani in Gandhinagar.

Besides Vijay Rupani, Imran Khedawala interacted with people of Jamalpur-Khadia constituency, Minister of State for Home Pradeepsinh Jadeja and also addressed the media.

With these updates Gujarat reported 45 fresh cases of the Novel Coronavirus taking the total to 695 till date.
