On Good Friday, an Indian priest Reverand Thomas Uzhunnalil was crucified by the Islamic State in Yemen, according to an American website.
As per reports, earlier this month, the priest was kidnapped at an old age home in Yemen. He was working for Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity. It is heard the terror group crucified the priest in the same way which the Romans did to crucify Jesus Christ.
At first, the plan of ISIS to crucify the priest appeared on the Facebook page of a South Africa-based religious group.
The post read, “Was informed that the Salesian priest, Father Tom who was kidnapped from the Missionaries of Charity Home in Yemen is being tortured and is going to be crucified on Good Friday. This calls for serious concerted prayers from all of us.”
However, there is no official confirmation in this regard from the government of India or from the family of the Indian priest.
